Amanda Feldman joined Curran Moher Weis in 2021 after graduating Cum Laude from American University Washington College of Law. Ms. Feldman is experienced in handling various types of family law matters including issues related to divorce, distribution of assets, custody, and support. Ms. Feldman works with her clients to ensure they are well-informed of their legal rights and empowered to make decisions that shape a positive outcome in their legal matters.

During her time at American University, Ms. Feldman was a participant in the Women and the Law Clinic where she zealously represented clients in various family law matters, including complex custody and support issues, in the DC Superior Court. Prior to graduating law school, Ms. Feldman also worked as a Legal Intern at the DC Superior Court and the New Jersey District Court. During her studies, Ms. Feldman previously worked in the field of immigration, gender-based violence, civil rights, and human rights at a private immigration practice, a legal resource center for violence against women, a private civil rights practice, and at the Department of Homeland Security.

Ms. Feldman also received special recognition from American University Washington College of Law as a Mussey Prize recipient, which is presented to JD graduates who have attained the highest scholastic average during the last year of study.

In her undergraduate studies, Ms. Feldman graduated Cum Laude from The George Washington University, where she studied political science, women’s studies, and international affairs.

Ms. Feldman is also proficient in Russian.

In her free time, Amanda enjoys reading, practicing Tae Kwon Do, and traveling.
